Chelsea are targeting a move to sign Leicester City centre back Wesley Fofana, according to reports over night.
The 20-year old has really made a name for himself since arriving from France in the Premier League in 2020, and of course now Chelsea might find themselves in serious need of a new centre back or two with the current contractual situations at the club.

Now according to Footmercato, Chelsea are in contact with the entourage of the France U21 international ahead of a potential move to Stamford Bridge in the summer.
Having signed a 5-year contract with Leicester in 2020, Fofana has 4 years left remaining on his deal. But Chelsea are used to doing negotiations with Leicester having signed both N’Golo Kante and Ben Chilwell from them in recent seasons.
Fofana could be seen as the ideal Antonio Rudiger replacement, with his contract situation up in the air and looking unlikely to be resolved as things stand.
