PRINCETON, N.J. — Columbia men's soccer's
Michael Collodi and
Andrew Stevens have earned Honorable Mention All-Ivy League accolades, while senior WIll Todd was named Academic All-Ivy League. The league office announced its 2021 postseason honors and awards Wednesday afternoon.
Collodi, a junior goalkeeper, led the Ivy League and ranked No. 10 nationally in total saves, recording 80 on the season. The Frisco, Texas native was also top 10 nationally in saves per game (5.33) and carried one of the nation's top 25 save percentages (.784). Collodi finished the season with a 1.48 goals against average and posted two shutouts. The All-Ivy honors are the first of Collodi's career.
Stevens was a solid force in the defensive midfield all season, playing in 14 of the team's 16 matches and starting 13 of them. While his contributions don't reflect in a lot of statistics, Stevens did tally an assist in his final game of the season, helping the Lions to a 1-1 draw against an 11-win Cornell team. The All-Ivy honors give Stevens three in his career, as he was named Second Team in 2018 and Honorable Mention in 2019.
Additionally, one Ivy League men's soccer student-athlete from each institution was recognized for their commitment in the classroom and on the pitch as members of the 2021 Ivy League Men's Soccer Academic All-Ivy team. Senior
Will Todd was selected for Columbia. Todd carries a 3.765 GPA as a political science major at Columbia College. He played in 12 matches on the back line this season and made nine starts, scoring his first collegiate goal against Manhattan.
