Miami Heat icon Dwyane Wade recently guested on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to promote his new book. Unsurprisingly, one of the first topics discussed was his relationship with his wife, Gabrielle Union.

Colbert dropped a hilarious accusation on Wade about having Union's poster on his wall when he was a teenager. The Heat legend did not hesitate and straight-up denied the allegations as quickly as it was brought up:

“That is a lie,” Wade said (h/t Peter Dewey of Heat Nation). “My wife is a bigger celebrity than me. … This is a planted story. This did not happen, people. She’s lying. Now, I had the magazine that she was on the cover of and probably was under my pillow, but it wasn’t on the wall.”

For what it's worth, Wade and Union have a nine-year age gap, with the latter being the senior between them. Gabrielle Union also happened to be a big Hollywood star during the late 1990s to early 2000s and, surely, more than a few teenagers had her poster on their walls. Nevertheless, the Heat star denies any such claims as he called out his own wife for allegedly planting this story about him.

This was clearly all in good fun and Dwyane Wade even joked about having Union's magazine under his pillow (wink, wink). This power couple has been through quite a lot in their 13-year-long relationship, and it's great to see that they have endured the test of time (and some other trials and tribulations as well).
