Kenny Omega Says He’s Taking Time Off From AEW to ‘Fix Things’
Kenny Omega addressed his AEW Full Gear loss on this week’s Dynamite, saying that he’s stepping away in order to fix some things. The Elite opened tonight’s show with a segment in which Omega congratulated Hangman Page on beating him for the AEW World Title and said that some things needed to get fixed, and he would be stepping away to do that.
Omega then told the Elite to “hold down the fort” while he’s gone and when Adam Cole said he has it covered, Omega said he was talking about the Young Bucks. Cole responded, “Of course.”
Omega is reportedly taking time off to deal with some injuries he’s been dealing with for a couple of years. You can see the segment below:
