LEWIS – The Edwards County Community Choir will perform the Christmas Cantata "Bethlehem's Child" by Victor C. Johnson and Lloyd Larson at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, in the Lewis United Methodist Church, 406 Lewis St. The choir is under the direction of Kathy Lindberg. Mary Ann Fuller is the accompanist.

All are welcome this Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, 201 E. Sherman, at 8:15, 9, or 10:30 a.m. Pastor Christy Kass will bring a message based on Romans 12:1-21, titled “It’s Time to Give My All for Jesus” at the 8:15 and 10:30 services. Keith Neill will lead the 9 a.m. service (W@9) with a message, “All for Jesus”, based on the same Scripture. Communion will be served in all three services. We will also celebrate Commitment Sunday in all the services. Our 10:30 service is live on KHUT 102.9 FM and you can watch our recorded W@9 service by going to the website www.fpchutch.org and clicking the Online Worship button on the top right-hand corner of the home page after 4 on Sunday afternoon. The church offices will be closed Thursday and Friday in honor of Thanksgiving.

New Covenant Presbyterian Church, 700 E. 25th, welcomes all to join in Worship at 9:30 a.m. Fellowship time follows with Sunday School at 10:50. Rev. Craig Waetke will bring a message titled "From The End To The Beginning" on this Christ The King Sunday. Scripture will be from Mark 15:33-47; 16:9-20. Thanksgiving Offering will be taken. Park Place Christian Church, 2600 N. This is also for those under stress during the holiday season who need a time of rest. With singing, scripture readings, and prayer, the service invites those who attend to take time for themselves and to find comfort at a difficult time. Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 407 E. 12th, invites you to join us Sunday for worship services at 8:30 and 11 a.m. Adult Bible Study and children’s Sunday School meet at 9:45. You are also welcome to join us Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. for our Thanksgiving service. “Surviving the Holidays” by GriefShare will be held on Monday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Our Redeemer Lutheran Parish Hall. It will be a time to share and to get some helpful ideas and information about going through the grief journey. Confidentiality is stressed so participants can feel at ease talking about our loss, but your silence is also respected. New Life Christian Church, 2928 N. Hendricks, announces that Morning Bible Study at 9:15 a.m. and traditional worship at 10:30 a.m. will be Sunday, Nov. 21. Please join us as we celebrate this Sunday in praise and worship of our Risen Lord. Pastor John Frey will bring the message: "God's Desire for His Children," taken from 1 Thessalonians 5:15-18. Sunday morning Bible Study is an excellent opportunity to grow in the Word of God and the fellowship of the Body of Christ. The Bible study hour meets at 9:15 a.m. We continue the Bible study of Paul's letter to the Colossians. The lesson for this Sunday is "The Gospel and Relationships," taken from Colossians 3:19-4:6. Believers live and relate differently as a result of the Gospel. Social distancing will be observed. Wednesday night Bible study is postponed until further notice.

South Hutchinson United Methodist Church Pastor Mike's theme for this Sunday's Worship service is "Enough: Defined by Generosity" the scriptures are Psalm 112:1-8; Genesis 28:18-22; Acts 20;35; Mark 12:41-44.
