TOWN OF ULSTER, N.Y. — Two people suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Flatbush Road, Ulster Hose Fire Chief Shawn Heppner said Wednesday.

One vehicle wound up on its side after the Tuesday evening collision, and the driver of that vehicle needed to be extricated, the chief said. He said one driver was taken to the HealthAlliance Hospital’s Broadway Campus in Kingston for evaluation.

Heppner said the collision “looked worse than it was” and that everyone involved escaped without serious injury.

Details about the crash were not immediately available from the Ulster Police Department.
