Paris Saint-Germain will return from the November international break with a pair of key fixtures in the Ligue 1 match against Nantes and the UEFA Champions League away group stage fixture against Manchester City.

There have been question marks over the past week on whether Lionel Messi may be available for these matchups considering that his hamstring and knee injuries kept him out of PSG’s last two matches in all competitions. But as he noted following Argentina’s 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying scoreless draw result with Brazil, he has been on the right track regarding this matter.

“I’m fine, otherwise I wouldn’t have played,” Messi said. “I’ve been out of action for a long time, and it’s not easy to play a match with as much rhythm as this one. Luckily, I’m fine and I know that little by little I’m going to get into a rhythm. I hope I can finish the year well.”

PSG’s clash with Nantes will come on November 20.
