Jaguars designate James O'Shaughnessy (ankle) to return

The Jacksonville Jaguars designated tight end James O'Shaughnessy (ankle) to return from injured reserve.

What It Means:

O'Shaughnessy has been sidelined with a high-ankle sprain since Week 2. After placing O'Shaughnessy on IR, the Jaguars traded for Dan Arnold and he has emerged as one of Trevor Lawrence's primary targets. O'Shaughnessy is not expected to be relevant for fantasy owners, but his return could potentially cut into Arnold's workload a bit. The Jaguars are facing the San Francisco 49ers in Week 11.

numberFire's models expect O'Shaughnessy to play Week 11, but Arnold is still projected for 6.0 targets, second-most on the team behind Marvin Jones (6.7). The 49ers are allowing the ninth-fewest FanDuel points per game to the tight end position this season.
