Borussia Dortmund will reportedly look to bolster their attack in the January transfer window, with Hakim Ziyech a potential target.

Borussia Dortmund could be set for a busy January transfer window, with the club reportedly looking to bring in a new forward player. According to Sky Sport, the BVB bosses are considering signing a fast attacking player in January, who can play on the wing or as the second striker behind Erling Haaland.

Borussia Dortmund have struggled to score goals in the absence of Haaland, with summer signing Donyell Malen unable to make much of an impact so far. The Black and Yellows seem to be lacking quality depth options in their attack, and the hope will be that they can solve this issue in January.

Chelsea attacking midfielder Hakim Ziyech is one name who has been linked with a move to Borussia Dortmund in recent days. The 28 year old is unhappy with his playing time at Chelsea, and is reportedly looking to leave the English Premier League side in January.

Sky claim that while a final decision on Ziyech’s future has not yet been made, Borussia Dortmund would certainly be interested in signing him on loan if Chelsea allow him to leave in the winter transfer window.

One player who Dortmund will not be making a move for in January is Callum Hudson-Odoi. The Chelsea winger was linked with a move to the Westfalenstadion in the summer transfer window. But Thomas Tuchel decided against letting him depart on loan. And Sky add that the 21 year old is no longer a topic at Borussia Dortmund.
