Red Bull boss Helmut Marko seems terrified of Lewis Hamilton's engine advantage despite Max Verstappen's lead in the F1 driver standings.

After winning the Brazilian Grand Prix starting at P10, Hamilton completed a successful drive, but it is also a fact that he had a new engine.

“There were not two rockets, but one. Only the Hamilton (car) has such an unbelievable surplus on the straights.

“Despite the lead, I see us at a disadvantage if Hamilton maintains this engine advantage.”

“We haven't seen an engine like that from Mercedes in recent years, as far as I can remember, Unbelievable. Mercedes have done a masterpiece to conjure up such a rocket at this crucial stage. Hamilton won it on the straights.”

Max Verstappen was expected to win the race after garnering P2 before the start of the race. However, Mercedes won the weekend after Hamilton's victory and Bottas' P3 finish, and the British driver's remarkable overtake on Verstappen late in the race.

With just three races to go, fans expect a cardiac finish in Verstappen and Hamilton's fight for the F1 title, with the former maintaining a slim 14-point lead. However, it is a concern that Marko mentioned Hamilton's and Mercedes' engine advantage this late into the season.

On the other hand, Mercedes seems to be in a good position, leading Red Bull by 11 points in the constructor standings.

Will Hamilton mount an impressive comeback to win his eighth F1 title? or will Verstappen hold on and win his first?
