Week 11 of the NFL season is here and some interesting names are resurfacing for fantasy football. The QB position is one to keep an eye on for Week 11. It's time to continue our 2021 fantasy football series with a breakdown on the quarterback position.

The Carolina Panthers are seeing the return of former MVP Cam Newton. Newton reunited with the Panthers after the injury to quarterback Sam Darnold. He is a name to pay attention to as the fantasy football playoffs are starting to loom. There are elite quarterbacks not playing to the level they are accustomed to so with that being said let's take a look at who fantasy owners should consider starting or benching for Week 11.

Fantasy Football Week 11 Start ‘Em

Justin Herbert – Los Angeles Chargers

Justin Herbert did not have the greatest game on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings. He ended with just 12 fantasy points according to ESPN. It's been a streaky season for Herbert who hasn't played well in three of his last four games. In the loss against the Vikings, he finished with under 200 passing yards for the second time this season. Despite the inconsistency, there is still a lot to like about Herbert. The Chargers are going to try and let him air it out more often as they have been focusing a lot on the run game.

The Chargers play the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football. The Steelers are ranked 8th against the pass but could be without two crucial defenders in the secondary. Safety Minkah Fitzpatrick and corner Joe Haden could miss the game for specific reasons. TJ Watt could miss the game as well with a knee injury and that could really benefit the Chargers' passing game. I would seriously consider starting Herbert this week with the possible absences to many starting defenders.

Mac Jones – New England Patriots

Jones is playing like the best rookie quarterback this season. He's fresh off a three-touchdown game but the issue has been yardage. He threw for under 200 yards for the second-straight week which kept him under 20 fantasy points. Jones isn't much of an elite fantasy football quarterback but he does have a favorable matchup early in the week.

The Patriots will take on the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday Night Football. The Falcons are ranked 30th against the pass and are giving up a ton of points lately because of the poor defensive play. I like Jones a lot this week as he could put up good fantasy numbers against a team who allows the third most.

Kyler Murray – Arizona Cardinals

Kyler Murray could miss this week's game as he recovers from the ankle injury. If he does suit up and play, he should definitely start on your fantasy team. Murray is an MVP candidate this season and is one of the top fantasy quarterbacks. There shouldn't be any doubt on whether he continues his run in Week 11 if given the opportunity.

The Cardinals take on the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday who are ranked 11th against the pass. The Seahawks did a great job of containing Aaron Rodgers, but with Murray's ability to escape the pocket and run, he should put up better fantasy numbers this week.

Fantasy Quarterbacks Sit ‘Em

Russell Wilson – Seattle Seahawks

Wilson did not look great in his return to action this past Sunday because of how well the Packers contained him. The Packers held the Seahawks scoreless and forced Wilson to throw two interceptions. Wilson threw for just 161 yards and it looked like he couldn't find a rhythm all game long. This week is also not a favorable matchup for the former Super Bowl Champion.

Wilson and the Hawks take on the Cardinals who are ranked 3rd against the pass. That should be enough to consider benching Wilson a week after he reached just five fantasy points. Wilson is clearly one of the better QBs in the league, however, he needs more time to get back into his groove.

Kirk Cousins – Minnesota Vikings

Cousins played well enough to give the Vikings the win over the Chargers in Week 10. The Vikings won the game because of their elite defensive play, but Cousins did throw for two touchdowns in the win. He's off to a great start to the season for fantasy football and is one of the surprises of the year.

Cousins faces the 7th ranked Packers defense who just shut out Wilson and the Seahawks. I wouldn't expect Cousins to play as well as he did last week.

Cam Newton – Carolina Panthers

Newton reunited with the Panthers is great for the NFL. Many fantasy football owners picked up him in free agency and considered starting him last week. He did score two touchdowns but he himself did not start for the Panthers. PJ Walker earned the start and that is probably going to happen again in Week 11. I would not start him on your fantasy team unless the Panther announce him the starter.
