F1 and Mercedes boss Toto Wolff is hyped after Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes' victory in Brazil, stressing that the motivation within the team is “greater than ever.”

Despite missing out on pole position, and with Hamilton starting the race from P10, Mercedes' completely outlasted Red Bull in Brazil, with Hamilton winning the race and Valtteri Bottas finishing at P3.

“Last weekend in Sao Paulo was a triumph through adversity and I couldn't be prouder of the fighting spirit from every member of our team.”

“Through each setback, our determination grew stronger, and this already close team grew tighter with every challenge thrown our way,” said the F1 boss.

“Lewis completed a stunning victory, which will rightly be talked about for years to come. For us, that victory is just one important step on our journey and our goal is clear.

Apart from Hamilton's masterclass, Bottas' drive to P3 was positively recognized by Wolff.

“On Valtteri [Bottas], he performed excellently all weekend. His Sprint victory on Saturday and podium on Sunday showed the strength of our pairing; their teamwork was fantastic.”

Fans expected Mercedes to be faster in Brazil, but no one expected Hamilton to win the race starting from P10. Overall, Wolff's hyped reaction is warranted as Mercedes extends their lead to 11 points in the constructor standings. Meanwhile, Hamilton pulls closer to Max Verstappen but trails by 14 points— gunning for his eighth F1 title.
