Law & Order's long-awaited comeback series has landed a premiere date for early next year.
The original show, which has spawned a number of spin-offs, was cancelled all the way back in 2010, though will pick up next year where things left off.
Broadcaster NBC has now confirmed that season 21 of the show will premiere on February 24, 2022 at 8pm ET, airing on Thursdays alongside sister shows SVU and Organized Crime, which follow at 9 and 10pm.

It is currently unclear as to whether the show's original cast members will return, though preliminary talks have reportedly been happening with some of the stars.
The series' original cast included the likes of Jeremy Sisto, Anthony Anderson, S Epatha Merkerson, Linus Roache, Alana De La Garza and Sam Waterston.
One new addition that has been confirmed, however, is Burn Notice's Jeffrey Donovan, who will take on the role of an NYPD detective.
Elaborating on the show itself, creator Dick Wolf recently explained to Variety: "This will be season 21, so it's the same Law & Order everyone knows from the first 20 years.
"So there's really nothing to fix, we just want to continue telling great stories. Casting as always will be three cops and three DAs.
"We always approach storytelling the same way: Good writing, acting and production values, and give the viewers what they want. That's been our mantra from day one."
Speaking at the time the Law & Order revival was announced, Wolf said of bringing back the series: "There are very few things in life that are literally dreams come true. This is mine."
Law & Order will return on Thursday, February 24, 2022. Law & Order: SVU airs Thursdays on NBC in the US. The show airs on Sky Witness in the UK, with select episodes available on NOW.
