Alex Rodriguez is taking another swing at romance.
The New York Post’s Page Six reports the former New York Yankees star has turned his attention to ex-model and “Real Housewife of New York” Kelly Bensimon.

According to Page Six, Rodriguez has been texting Bensimon and “asking to hang out.”
“They have a cute and flirty text relationship,” says an insider. “Alex has asked her out more than once although she has not gone on a date with him.”
Page Six confirmed with Bensimon’s camp that she’s “been in contact” with Rodriguez.
“They’ve been having a fun text relationship for the last couple of months,” says Bensimon’s rep. “She thinks he is charming and a gentleman.”
However Page Six reports that a representative for Rodriguez said his contact with Bensimon is strictly professional.
“She reached out on a real estate opportunity and that is it. There are no flirty texts, there is nothing there. A lot of people reach out to him for business purposes.”
Rodriguez has been on the market since April, when the three-time American League MVP ended his relationship with actress/singer Jennifer Lopez, who has reunited with former beau Ben Affleck.
As for Rodriguez, he has been connected to a “bevy of beauties” since the breakup while adjusting to his new job as part-owner of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
