Murder charge denied after man's death in Telford street
A man is due to stand trial next year for the alleged murder of a 23-year-old who was found dead in a street.
Police said it believed Dawid Kurdziel was attacked in a park and play area before he was found dead in Holyhead Road, Ketley, Telford on 3 July.
Robert Wieczorkowski, 31, previously of Hurleybrook Way, Telford, pleaded not guilty to charges of murder and manslaughter on Tuesday.
A trial has been scheduled to begin at Stafford Crown Court on 7 February.
Mr Kurdziel's family previously described him as "a very happy person", who was "precious to us all".
