Former Lovelyz Mijoo Departs from Woollim Entertainment and Signs with Antenna
Back on November 10, media outlets reported that Lovelyz member Mijoo was in talks to sign with Antenna, an agency founded by "Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook" host and singer Yoo Hee Yeol.
The reports came in light of Mijoo's exclusive contract with Woollim Entertainment as a Lovelyz member coming to an end on November 16, with five out of the six members of the group set to depart the label and eventually disbanding Lovelyz.
At the time, media outlets have also reported that Mijoo's discussion on joining Antenna was on a positive note, with the agency only responding to the reports by confirming that Antenna's representatives have met up with Mijoo, yet nothing was confirmed.
After much speculation, Antenna finally announced that Mijoo has signed an exclusive contract with the agency on November 17 KST through their social media.

"Lee Mijoo has always done her best as both a member of Lovelyz and with her individual activities, and has showed a wide spectrum with her own style and personality. We plan to give Mijoo our full support so that she can develop into a renewed singer. We ask for your support for Lee Mijoo, who is about to make a new start," Antenna said.
Mijoo also shared a few words regarding her signing, saying, "Antenna's motto which aims to be 'good people, good music, and [have] a good laugh' coincided with the picture I wanted to draw. I will deliver good energy through various activities in the future."
Antenna Shares Future Plans for Its Artists
With this, Mijoo joins fellow "Hangout with Yoo" star Yoo Jae Suk, Jung Seung Hwan, Kwon Jin Ah, Jukjae, Peppertones, and more in Antenna's artist lineup.
In addition to Mijoo's signing, Antenna also shared some of their future plans, such as introducing content that can create a synergy in both music and entertainment.

Antenna is currently releasing their own original content "Antenna TV: Udangtangtang Antenna" through KakaoTV, which began airing back in October. Additionally, Antenna artists will participate more actively in project planning to continue presenting unconventional music and entertainment.
Meanwhile, Mijoo debuted as a member of Lovelyz back in 2014. After seven years of promoting, the group officially disbanded on November 16. She is currently appearing as a fixed cast member on MBC's "Hangout with Yoo" and the host of KakaoTV's "Learn Way."
