(Ames) Things are off to a much better start for Iowa State this season compared to the 2020-21 campaign. Iowa State defeated Alabama State 68-60 at Hilton Coliseum on Tuesday.
Izaiah Brockington led the way with 23 points. Tyrese Hunter added 19 points to go along with 6 assists. The freshman from Racine, WI was 9/10 from the free-throw line.
Iowa State is 3-0 on the season while Alabama State sinks to 0-4. ISU plays Grambling next. The contest will be in Ames on on November 21st.
