Arthur Smith getting production from Falcons' offense is 'making lemonade out of lemons'

The Atlanta Falcons are coming off an embarrassing loss to the Dallas Cowboys. The Falcons were exposed on both sides of the ball down in Big D. It’s no secret that the Atlanta Falcons roster doesn’t measure up to some of the top teams in the league.

When Arthur Smith and Terry Fontenot took over this team, they knew exactly what they were getting themselves into.

D. Orlando Ledbetter, of The AJC, joined The Jon Chuckery Show to talk about how Smith has handled the roster he has been dealt.

“Offensively, he’s (Smith) making lemonade out of lemons over there with a line that can’t block, and without a running game,” Ledbetter said.

Smith does deserve some credit for figuring out how to move the football with their deficiencies up front. It really speaks to the type of job he has done as a play-caller and the head coach of this team.
