The Detroit Tigers have a new starting pitcher and his name is Eduardo Rodriguez.
The Tigers signed Rodriguez to a 5-year, $77 million deal (can earn up to $3 million more in incentives).
On Tuesday, Tigers GM Al Avila commented on signing Rodriguez.
“Eduardo was clearly one of our top targets in this year’s free-agent pitching class, and we are extremely happy to add someone of his caliber to our rotation. … We look forward to the positive impact he will have on our team.”
Nation, do you think this is a good deal for the Tigers?
