'Southern Charm' Star Kathryn Dennis Boasts About Connecting To Her 'Truest Self' While With Her Children Following Custody Battle
Kathryn Dennis is living her best life whenever she gets to spend time with her little ones.
The mother-of-two — who lost full custody of children Kensie, 7, and Saint, 6, to her ex Thomas Ravenel earlier this year — gushed on Instagram about how good she feels when she's surrounded by her kids as the holiday season approaches.
"There’s nothing that connects me more to my truest self than being with my children 🌹," Dennis captioned an adorable selfie with her smiling kids matching in reindeer sweaters.
One day prior, the blonde babe shared another pic from the photoshoot for the family's Christmas card. "Walking into the holiday season with intention, Christmas cards coming soon," Dennis' Monday, November 15, post — which featured the three walking away from the camera as she held both Kensie and Saint's hands — read.
It seems the Southern Charm star is soaking up all the moments she can get with her kids after losing full custody. She and her baby daddy — who recently reunited for their son's sixth birthday — had been battling it out in court ever since their 2016 split, with Ravenel getting sole custody due to the 30-year-old's substance abuse issues.

After completing a rehab stint, Dennis gained back 50/50 custody, but her request for sole custody was denied after Ravenel was arrested for assault and battery.
Meanwhile, the custody dispute didn't end there, as a judge ruled in February that her ex, 59, would be getting temporary sole custody of Kensie and Saint. Radar learned the 59-year-old requested to change their custody court agreement, citing Dennis' alleged drug abuse and neglect. In light of the drug accusations, Dennis requested the court documents be sealed.
Apart from Dennis often expressing her love for her children on social media, she has also been candid about her feelings regarding the former flames' court agreement.
The reality star previously broke down on Instagram over "missing [her] babies," as she shared an adorable snap of the siblings hugging followed by a heartbreaking selfie with tears streaming down her face. “But some days it be like that…,” Dennis captioned the emotional snap in September.
