Ubisoft are expanding in Quebec with a brand new studio in the city of Sherbrooke.

Ubisoft have officially announced the opening of a brand new studio in Quebec, Canada in the city of Sherbrooke.

The publisher announced the news today but did not provide additional details. We don't know the size of the studio in terms of the number of employees but Ubisoft did say that Sherbrooke will be co-developing their biggest franchises so basically, this will be another support studio, by the looks of it.

Interestingly, Ubisoft Sherbrooke will also contribute to the development of the most recent innovations in the field of entertainment and tech.

Additionally, Ubisoft have confirmed a targeted investment plan of $17 million with education, entrepreneurs and La Forge programs to support innovation and youth training among other things, reports Yahoo.
