LONDON — Last Sunday, Saundra Adams and her grandson Chancellor Lee, got a front-row view of the game.

Chancellor Lee is the son of former Panther Rae Carruth.

Chancellor survived, and now 20 years later, he and his grandmother were able to watch his favorite football team play overseas for the first time.

In 2001, Carruth was convicted of orchestrating the murder of his girlfriend, Cherica Adams, who was pregnant with Chancellor.

Cherica Adams died.

"I can't even control the smile," Saundra Adams said. "From ear-to-ear, it is so authentic. It is just so, I can't even describe it. It's just, no words for how grateful I am."
