Dying Light 2 Stay Human – New Gameplay Showcases Parkour, Paragliding, and Combat

Also, depending on one's choices, major characters could end up having less prominent roles or even becoming Aiden's enemies.

Techland’s Dying Light 2 Stay Human has received some new gameplay courtesy of Game Informer along with some new details. The publication noted that it performs well on previous-gen platforms, though the gameplay has been captured on PC. It offers a look at the parkour, paragliding and plenty of combat.

While the combat still looks fairly basic (likely since this is an early part of the game), the parkour looks fairly responsive as Aiden climbs up rails, jumps to adjacent windows and much more. The paragliding also looks good with one mission seeing Lawan (played by Rosario Dawson) guiding the player on using it. By manipulating the wind, it’s possible to refill one’s stamina and glide for longer periods of time.

It’s also noted that due to how the factions function in the game, it’s possible that some major storyline characters could be minor players or even enemies based on one’s choices. How far this goes remains to be seen. Dying Light 2 Stay Human is out on February 4th 2022 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch so it won’t be long before we find out for ourselves.
