An 11-2 start to the season has the Golden State Warriors at the top of the NBA standings heading into their matchup with the Brooklyn Nets. This is sure to be a fun one, with the Nets in second place in their respective conference.

Golden State recently rattled off a seven-game win streak before finally dropping a game to the Charlotte Hornets. They have shown brief weaknesses like a clunky half-court offense in crunch time and an occasionally vulnerable defense. Yet, they hold the best Net Rating in the league.

Then, there is the Nets, who despite not having Kyrie Irving for the foreseeable future have been right alongside the Dubs as the first two teams to reach 10 wins this season. Brooklyn is a title favorite due to their star-studded roster.

The Golden State Warriors have a highly-anticipated showdown with the Brooklyn Nets today. Here are three things to keep an eye out for.

If watching two of the best teams in the league face-off was not enough for you to tune in — the clash between Kevin Durant and his former squad should do the trick. While there is no bad blood between the two groups who won multiple championships together, playing your former team is always a reason to perk up.
