Save $70 on Apple's AirPods Max Headphones

In true Apple fashion, the AirPods Max headphones are equal parts stunning design, high-quality features, and hefty price tag. Thankfully, Amazon is offering the sleek accessory for $70 off the $549 list price.

Available in five colors (space gray, green, pink, silver, sky blue), the minimalist circumaural AirPods Max feature large aluminum ear cups and a stainless steel headband featuring what Apple calls a "canopy" of knit mesh.

Internal 40mm dynamic drivers are covered in quilted cloth, with a large "L" and "R" stitched into the fabric as an easy reminder of headphone placement. Each ear cup also houses an H1 chip for seamless iOS pairing and integration, as well as an accelerometer and gyroscope. The receivers are compatible with Bluetooth 5.0 and support AAC and SBC Bluetooth codecs.

You'll find a Lightning port along the rounded side panels of the right ear cup (Apple does not include a power adapter). There's also an LED status indicator, an array of microphones, and a series of buttons and controls for triggering ANC/Transparency mode and managing playback, Siri, and voice calls.

Apple estimates battery life of about 20 hours between charges. Results will vary depending on ANC usage, audio playback, and volume levels. When stored in the included Smart Case, the headphones, which support spatial audio, enter an ultra-low battery consumption/sleep setting.
