Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street's Max Turner will continue to face the fallout over his online video next week, as the Street's residents turn against him after watching the unpleasant film.

This week, Max (Paddy Bever) will reveal that he's making a film in his spare time, but unfortunately his project doesn't go down well.

After he uploads it to his social media, the cobbles residents are horrified to discover that Max has made a documentary about the night of the recent sewer collapse, in which he has come up with a conspiracy theory that links the deaths of Johnny Connor and Natasha Blakeman.

Max's tutor – and secret crush – Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) and his adoptive dad David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) both rage at Max when they see the shocking video, and as next week arrives, news of Max's film continues to spread.

As the week begins, Max sets off for school only to run into Summer and Asha (Tanisha Gorey) and Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) in the street, all of whom are appalled by what they've seen and give Max a hard time over his distasteful 'documentary'.

Already angry at Max, David's rage is fuelled further when teacher Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) informs him that Max hasn't shown up at school again.

When he next sees Max, enraged David orders him to apologise to everyone that he has upset with his conspiracy theory video. After Max refuses, David grabs his laptop – but accidentally drops it.

Heading off to sit in Victoria Garden, Max comes across Daniel. Despite their recently fraught relationship, Max confides in his unlikely ally about how he wishes he could put things right after causing so much hurt.

But has Max left it too late to make amends with his family and neighbours?

David actor Jack P Shepherd recently spoke about why David may be struggling to discipline Max, explaining that his character can "see a bit of himself in Max".

"It would be interesting to see it come full circle. For example, if Max played up and David loses his temper, it would be nice for Gail (Rodwell, played by Helen Worth) to be the one to see the good in him," he said. "That would be an interesting dynamic."

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, November 22 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
