Jessica Lange

INDIANAPOLIS

Jessica Lange, 33 years old, Mother to three young children: Grayson Bear 7, Jackson River 6, and Delilah Belle 4 months, died November 9, 2021, from injuries caused by an automobile accident near Edinburgh Indiana.

Jessica was born to Ursula and Rodman Lange in Bamberg Germany, the Black Forest Region, on November 19, 1987, almost exactly nine months to the day after her mother wished for her on a falling star. Jessica is the kindest, most caring, and loving soul this earth has ever had the privilege to witness. She brought love and compassion to every living soul she met, changing everyone she met.

When she was born everyone knew Jessica was special and filled with love, but it became undeniably obvious, when Jessica was 5 years old, one day during a walk through the woods, a favorite pastime, a young squirrel fell from a tree and died right in front of her on the path. Jessica ran to the squirrel, picked it up, and caressed it, holding it to her chest. Jessica carried that squirrel for the rest of the walk, caressing it and consoling it as she walked. We finally had to bury the squirrel away from her sight to get her to let it go.

Jessica is missed by everyone who knew her. Jessica is survived by her Fiance Brandon Axum, Daughter Delilah Belle Axum, Sons Grayson Bear Jones and Jackson River Lange, Parents Rodman and Ursula Lange, Brother Joshua Lange, Sister Jennifer (Lange) Ficara and Brother-in-Law Kyle Ficara.

Jessica was preceded in death by both sets of her Grandparents Wilhelm and Louise (Hinderkopf) Winternheimer and Jackson LaRue and Lois Ann (Chafin) Lange.
