After releasing Oddworld: Soulstorm earlier this year, developer Oddworld Inhabitants will be releasing Oddworld: Soulstorm Enhanced Edition on November 30th. This enhanced edition will include revised and improved gameplay and motion control, along with audio adjustments and better AI follower responses. Players can also expect all new content and previous updates. Those who already own the game will not have to worry about paying for a new edition or update, as they will receive the enhanced update for free.

The new content involves a challenge mode that can only be unlocked once players have completed the game. There are some differences in what to expect, however, depending on what console you own. Xbox players will have access to the “Vykkers Lab,” which are small puzzle levels that pay homage to Oddworld 2.5D. Players can rank on leaderboards based on performances in speed runs or by simply not dying at all - which probably sounds easier than actually doing it.

PlayStation and PC players will have “Toby’s Escape," which will answer questions regarding how Toby escaped RuptureFarms and became the train conductor. The game serves as the sequel to Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty! and a reimagining of Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus. The game is a platformer that takes place in a unique alien world where the player's goal is to save Oddworld from an industrial takeover.

Oddworld: Soulstorm Enhanced Edition is available to pre-order online. As for physical releases, the game comes in both a standard edition and a collector's edition. The latter includes an embossed metal case, Abe figurine, art book, art prints, tattoo, tribal stickers, and mining company keychain.

Oddworld: Soulstorm Enhanced Edition comes out on November 30 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Epic Games Store. Check out the trailer for Oddworld: Soulstorm Enhanced Edition below.
