Kathy Hilton responds to speculation she won’t be returning to ‘RHOBH’

Kathy Hilton addressed recent reports that she won’t be returning to the new season of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”

“You know, I don’t know what I’m doing tomorrow,” Kathy, 62, told Entertainment Tonight ahead of daughter Paris Hilton’s wedding. “I could be skiing off Mount Everest. I don’t – right now, I’m just concentrating on the wedding.”

Reports surfaced last week that the breakout star hasn’t yet signed on as a “friend of the show” for Season 12.

TMZ claimed that Kathy was waiting for Bravo to increase her salary before signing back on. Sources told the outlet that production has been underway without her for several weeks.

“RHOBH” OG Kyle Richards also kept quiet when asked about her sister’s return to the show, telling TMZ last week that Kathy has simply been busy prepping for Paris’ wedding, which took place on Nov. 11.

“Where do you think [she is]? She’s getting ready for Paris’ wedding,” Richards, 52, said when approached by a videographer on Thursday, the same day as Paris’ nuptials to Carter Reum.

When pressed further on whether Kathy has been filming this season, Richards replied, “Not today, Paris is getting married today.”

Richards was one of many celebrities in attendance for Paris’ glamorous wedding, along with her and Kathy’s other sister, Kim Richards. Paris even included Kyle’s daughter Farrah Aldjufrie and Kim’s daughter Whitney Davis in her wedding party as bridesmaids.

Kathy signed on to “RHOBH” as a “friend” in October 2020 for Season 11. A source told Page Six at the time that she didn’t want to be a full-time cast member, because she thought it’d be “easier” to make appearances whenever she pleased.

“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Season 12 filming is currently underway.
