What should we make of the Boston Celtics season so far? A rough start, a decent recovery, and some backsliding on the heels of important players sitting with injuries. Bench players get inconsistent minutes and come out cold when their number is called, all while the team dials up the intensity on the defensive end of the court.

There are plenty of things to be positive about with this season’s Celtics given they have a number of new players and new members of the coaching staff, but plenty of inconsistency to get irked about as well.

What conclusions can we draw about Boston this early in the season, with the team just past a 10th of the way through the 2021-22 NBA season?
