Meri Brown Shares Inspiring Quote About Finding People 'Who Choose You' After Sister Wife Christine Brown Splits From Kody Brown
Meri Brown has shared some inspiring words about finding the right person.
The Sister Wives star, 50, took to Instagram on Monday, November 15 to share a post about meeting someone who will “choose you” amid Christine Brown’s split from Kody Brown.
The quote from @higherperspective was re-posted to Meri’s Instagram story, reading: “Choose people who choose you. No matter in the dark or in the light. Who genuinely wish you success and happiness. Who brag about you behind your back. Who inspire you to be better. Who have big dreams and work hard. With whom you can be your true self.”
She also posted a similar sentiment to her Instagram story the night before, sharing a quote from John Connolly on Sunday, November 14.
“The nature of humanity, its essence, is to feel another’s pain as one’s own, and to act to take that pain away. There is a nobility in compassion, a beauty in empathy, a grace in forgiveness,” the second quote read.
Meri’s motivational messages come in the wake of her sister wife Christine’s crumbling marriage to Kody.
Christine, 49, was married to the reality star for 25 years before announcing earlier this month that she was ending their union.

“After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave,” she wrote in an Instagram post on Tuesday, November 2.
“We will continue to be a strong presence in each other’s lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family,” she continued. “At this time, we ask for your grace and kindness as we navigate through this stage within our family.”
Christine and Kody share six kids together: Aspyn, 26, Mykelti, 25, Paedon, 23, Gwendlyn, 20, Ysabel, 18, and Truely, 11.
Meanwhile, Meri’s relationship with Kody has also been rumored to be on the rocks following her catfishing scandal, in which she formed an emotional connection to someone who she thought was a man but who turned out to be a female.
As OK! previously reported, the pair — who share 26-year-old daughter Mariah — have had “zero relationship” recently.
"It’s all fake,” an insider revealed. “They’re together for TV, essentially.”
Meri has since “become very independent,” as she recently embarked on a road trip without her husband. Kody is also still married to wives Robyn Brown and Janelle Brown.
