1000-Lb. Sisters fans wonder about Chris Comb’s weight loss progress.

Amy Halterman and Tammy Slaton’s brother Chris Combs was locked in as a main cast member for 1000-Lb. Sisters Season 3. Fans of the TLC show were thrilled as they loved episodes featuring Chris and were eager to see more of him. During the Season 2 Finale, we learned Chris got approved for his weight loss surgery. But, health complications including the removal of a massive boil pushed back his surgery.

Amy Halterman notices Chris Combs gained weight

During tonight’s episode of 1000-Lb. Sisters, Amy admits it has been a few weeks since she saw he brother Chris. The last time they got together was when Chris took Tammy to rehab. When Chris stepped out of his vehicle, Amy Halterman did a bit of a double-take. She asked what was wrong with him. He wasn’t sure what she meant by the question until she clarified it looked like he had put on a bit of water weight.

Chris Combs corrected her that his belly was far from water weight. He sadly admitted that he had gained nearly 45 pounds. Turns out, Chris Combs had a massive boil on the inside of his legs near his intimate areas that had to get surgically removed. He had some pretty gross pictures to share with Amy. Amy Halterman admitted it was gross. She, however, quickly pointed out that it looked a bit like a “cooter.”

Backsliding, Tammy and Amy’s brother hopes to turn it around

Chris Combs admits he’s devastated that he’s gained 45 pounds. He notes that it is just so much easier to put on weight than it is to lose it. He hopes he will still get his surgery. But, he recognizes there is a chance the doctor won’t let him get it because he backslid. Chris Combs, however, admits he’s continuing to follow his diet and pushing hard with the hopes of getting that weight back off of him.
