The Outriders New Horizon Update is arriving tomorrow, and that's not all -- Square Enix has announced that the first Outriders Expansion "Worldslayer" will be arriving in 2022.
Outriders had a bit of a shaky start earlier this year, but the people behind the game managed to get a handle on it and they eventually releases a patch to fix many of the early crashes and bugs. A few months later, the devs announced some great changes for Legendary drops and a release date delay for the next update. Now, we've learned that the new Outriders update arrives tomorrow -- and it will have some pretty interesting stuff in it.
What's New in the Outriders New Horizon Update?
The Outriders New Horizon Update is explained via a trailer that breaks down all of the cool new content on the way. This update will be free for all current and future owners, too, so you won't have to pay anything extra to get this stuff.
Let's talk new content right off the bat: a total of four new Expeditions will be arriving with this update -- and timers are being removed from Expeditions altogether. Also arriving is an all-new Transmog system and the following changes:
- New weapon skins
- Rebalanced Classes, Skills, and Mods
- An Overhaul to Tiago's Expedition Store (and his vendor items)
- ...and other general improvements and updates.

The Outriders New Horizon Update Release Date will be tomorrow, November 16, 2021.
Also Announced: First Outriders Expansion Worldslayer
Also announced alongside today's Outriders Update is the first Outriders expansion Worldslayer. This expansion will reveal the secrets of Enoch; more details will be announced in Spring of next year, but you can check out the trailer for this expansion (and tomorrow's update) to get a quick teaser for what's to come.
When is the Outriders Worldslayer Release Date?
The Outriders Worldslayer release date is sometime in 2022. Considering that we'll have to wait until Spring 2022 for more details, I'd wager that this expansion will launch either in late Spring 2022 or early Summer 2022 if everything goes to plan.
