Daredevil Reboot Reportedly in the Works at Marvel Studios

It looks like Daredevil fans are finally getting what they have been asking for. Marvel Studios is reportedly working on a reboot of the Netflix series. In addition to that, there is a huge possibility that the original cast will be returning in the new Marvel Cinematic Universe series!

It's no secret that fans are determined to bring Daredevil back after its untimely cancellation on Netflix. The hashtag #SaveDaredevil has sporadically trended in the past few years and people are refusing to back down. Amazingly, the campaign may have worked as an industry insider has confirmed that Marvel Studios is currently developing a reboot.

The leak comes from RPK News, which shared a casting grid for a Marvel project. The project is simply revealed as Daredevil which immediately had fans celebrating the show's possible reboot.

It's interesting to note that the casting grid doesn't reveal too much other than the project's title and the studio working on it. Some fans are also concerned that the casting grid means that Marvel is looking to replace Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock. However, there have been several reports indicating that the reboot will still feature the original cast but will introduce a completely new storyline for the characters.

Daredevil was the first of six Marvel shows to air on Netflix in the late 2010s and it was a huge hit for fans who loved the gritty side of New York's superheroes. Unfortunately, the series was canceled in 2018 along with Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Punisher, and The Defenders.

For now, Marvel Studios has not made an official announcement about the Daredevil reboot. However, there is a huge chance we'll be getting an update on the project by the end of the year or in early 2022. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
