Family members say the human remains found at High Cliff State Park are their missing relative, Starkie Swenson.
The remains were found in late September by two hikers.
Swenson is a Neenah man who went missing almost 40 years ago.
Even though his body wasn’t found, John Andrews was convicted of killing Swenson.
Investigators believed the 67-year-old Swenson was having an affair with Andrews’ former wife and he was killed in what they have called a love triangle.
Calumet County Sheriff Mark Wiegert says the remains won’t officially be identified yet until D-N-A test results are received.
