Week 10 of the 2021 NFL regular season was a forgettable one for Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns. Aside from getting destroyed by the New England Patriots in Foxborough in a 45-7 loss, the Browns also saw Mayfield suffer what seems to be a knee injury.

Mayfield was hit in the third quarter and missed the rest of the game, leaving people to speculate whether he'd even be available to play in Week 11 against the Detroit Lions at home. But according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Mayfield was held out of the fourth quarter of the Patriots game mainly because the Patriots virtually had the win in the bag and the Browns saw little reason for them to risk aggravation of Mayfield's injury.

Instead, the Browns opted to let Case Keenum finish the contest. Before leaving the field, Mayfield generated just 73 passing yards and a touchdown against an interception on 1-of-21 completions.

The Browns are 5-5 after 10 weeks of the season, leaving them on the bottom of the AFC North again. With the situation they are in, the Browns certainly will look to start Mayfield as much as possible and also hope that running back Nick Chubb will return after skipping Week 10 with a positive COVID-19 test.
