Miller’s Bar-B-Q sells turkey and ham, plus other barbecued meats, by the pound. BYOT - Bring Your Own Turkey

If you don’t mind making the sides but want someone else to cook the turkey, these local barbecue restaurants will smoke your bird for you.

The Bar-B-Q Man, 4931 Interstate Hwy. 37, will smoke your ham or turkey. Frozen meats must be received by Nov. 19 and defrosted ones by Nov. 22. Call 361-888-4248 to reserve a spot.

Bottomless Pit BBQ, 2815 Leopard St., will smoke a turkey between 12-18 pounds and can be picked up cold to serve later, or hot on Thanksgiving morning. Birds must be fully thawed when dropped off. Call 361-879-0900 to reserve a spot.

Mac’s Barbecue #Fore, 4354 S. Alameda St., will smoke up to a 20-lb turkey you bring in yourself, or they have a limited number of turkeys to sell. Turkeys must be fully defrosted and received by Nov. 20. Call 361-993-2233 to reserve a spot.
