Mike Evans says Week 10 loss won't define Bucs' season

Despite coming off a bye week, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers still looked sluggish in a 29-19 road loss to the Washington Football Team on Sunday, struggling to hang with an inferior team on both sides of the ball.

After the game, Bucs wide receiver Mike Evans did his best to keep things in perspective, making it clear the loss would not define the entire 2021 season for the defending Super Bowl champs.

Evans was targeted just three times Sunday, and he made the most of his few opportunities, catching two passes for 62 yards and a touchdown. His 40-yard touchdown reception got the Bucs within a score in the fourth quarter, but Washington salted away the win with a 19-play touchdown drive on the following possession.
