Venom: Let There Be Carnage spoilers follow.
Spider-Man himself Tom Holland has responded to rumours that he may work alongside Tom Hardy in the future, calling him a "lovely bloke".
Laying the groundwork for a potential meeting for Spider-Man and Venom, Tom offered his cryptic and non-committal response to Venom: Let There Be Carnage's post-credits scene.
At the end of Venom 2, an interaction between Hardy's Eddie Brock and Venom appears to signal a shift for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

After Venom tells Eddie that he's connected to a larger hive mind, the hotel room they're in enters what seems to be a new universe. On the TV is J Jonah Jameson doing a newscast about Peter Parker being confirmed as Spider-Man, which is how Spider-Mar: Far From Home ends and where No Way Home will pick up from.
Let There Be Carnage director Andy Serkis has since called the moment "a tease, in the fullest sense of the word", and now Tom Holland has offered his thoughts.
Speaking to Total Film ahead of Spider-Man: No Way Home's release next month, the actor admitted that he "genuinely" doesn't know if Spidey and Venom will meet.
He's certainly open to the idea of working with Tom Hardy, though.

"It was really exciting to be a part of that film," he continued. "Obviously, Tom Hardy is one of the greatest actors in the world. I'm happy to say he's a lovely bloke.
"But I haven't really given it very much thought."
Something Holland has been giving a lot of thought is the fan response to No Way Home. Hinting recently at heartbreak ahead, he warned: "What people will be really surprised about is that it's not fun, this film.
"You're going to see characters that you love go through things that you would never wish for them to go through."
Spider-Man: Far From Home is available now on DVD, Blu-ray and digital download. Spider-Man: No Way Home has a December 17, 2021 release date. Venom: Let There Be Carnage is out now in the UK and the US.
