Manchester United will be coming back hoping to turn the tables. However, the club would need to identify who could help Cristiano Ronaldo in the process.

The fun of Cristiano Ronaldo's return is now over and Manchester United needs to seriously devise a new or improved approach if they want to keep their title hopes alive.

As it stands, Manchester United has lost two important English Premier League matches. Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is taking the heat as many are convinced that his current squad is stacked with world-class players.

Indeed, Manchester United's roster is stunning. Apart from Ronaldo, the club also got lethal goal scorers in Edinson Cavani, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood. Some point out the need to bring in another formidable midfielder but looking at the lineup, the club got World Cup winner Paul Pogba and Portuguese star Bruno Fernandes.

Evidently, all the aforementioned Manchester United stars are capable of becoming a key figure in a winning project and they need to become one sooner rather than later. In the next games, Ronaldo is still expected to lead the frontline but he has to have a reliable support system.

The Red Devils should start appointing a second go-to guy and the selection process should not be too hard as the suitable candidates are already under their nose.

Marcus Rashford

Fresh from recovery, Marcus Rashford immediately made his presence felt by scoring in his first appearance of the season against Tottenham. Before Ronaldo's arrival, Rashford was the club's talisman so it will not be too risky if Solskjaer deploy him in the front once again.

Edinson Cavani

Much like Ronaldo, Edinson Cavani is a world-class striker who has proven that he can still score goals in bunches despite his age. If Solskjaer manages to figure out a way to make Cavani and Ronaldo efficiently co-exist on the pitch, goals will rain for sure.

Mason Greenwood

As far as scoring goals go, Mason Greenwood definitely is a prolific one. Though he's still a bit young, he has shown this season that he can be Ronaldo's co-star, having already bagged four goals in 10 matches.

Paul Pogba

The current Paul Pogba may not be the same Pogba the sport admired back in the day but it's ok as it is not really needed. If he could just somehow bring back the chemistry he and Ronaldo had early in the season, then good things will certainly follow suit.

A significant change is expected to happen when Manchester United returns and takes on Watford on Friday. Though Solskjaer has yet to give a hint as to who will be leading the club, one thing certain is that they will coming in determined to win.

“Players are human beings and when you lose a game of football there's no better remedy than winning a game, getting your confidence back,” Solskjaer said via Manchester Evening News. “Hopefully, the ones who go away do well.

“For us, it's all about Watford. We have to come out against Watford like a proper hurt animal and get back to what we know we can be. That's the only way to approach this and attack the situation.
