Two AEW Stars Reportedly Dealing With Injuries Following Full Gear PPV

Northeast Wrestling, which had been advertising Eddie Kingston for the Big Event convention in New York City, announced the following on social media:

“Eddie Kingston contacted us late last night. Due to an injury to his shoulder in his match with CM Punk last night at the AEW PPV, he will be unable to appear at Big Event NY Convention today. He is having his shoulder checked out and having a series of medical tests this morning.”

Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com noted the following regarding Kingston:

“PWInsider.com is told there was no specific injury occurring from the actual match but that is more of a case of Kingston being banged up from a cumulation of different issues.”

Malakai Black was also pulled from the Big Event due to a reported injury at the Full Gear PPV. Rack Attack Promotions wrote the following…

“Unfortunately we have bad news Malakai Black was injured last night at Full Gear and will be unable to attend The Big Event today. I have just received the news. I will have a few different options for everyone attending. I will see everyone soon. We hope to make everyone happy.”
