Las Vegas Raiders QB Derek Carr was not happy about his team's embarrassing loss against the Kansas City Chiefs at home on Sunday night. The difference between both teams was like night and day as Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs obliterated the Raiders' defense while Las Vegas' offense also couldn't get things going.

That being said, Carr still believes that this Raiders squad is built differently. Despite numerous turnovers over the past few games, the 30-year-old signal-caller isn't giving up just yet on Raider Nation.

“I think we're just a better team, we have better players,” Carr said (via Cassie Soto of Review-Journal). “Now, that doesn't result in wins. I just really believe in our group. The things that we messed up today are so correctable,”

After a strong start to the season winning their first three games, the Raiders have been a bit inconsistent as of late. They have now lost four of their last six games as they continue to hurtle past a few controversies outside the gridiron.

Sunday's match against the former Super Bowl champs didn't help as the Raiders were held to just 82 yards in the opening half which was the franchise's fewest yards in a home game in eight years. And from there, the home squad couldn't keep up as Mahomes and the Chiefs kept their feet on the gas pedal en route to the huge blowout loss for the Raiders.

Carr though isn't losing hope. The team's leader is firm that everything that went wrong on Sunday is definitely fixable as the Raiders try to get themselves out of this recent slump.
