A heartwarming clip has emerged online showing a chat between Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez and Caleb Plant just moment after their super-middleweight unification bout.
The footage makes for pretty wholesome viewing as the two boxers pay their respects to each other after 11 tough rounds.
In the video, you can see the two opponents embrace in the centre of the ring before exchanging a few words.
Canelo: "You're a good fighter."

Plant: "I'm sad."
Canelo: "Don't be ashamed. You're a great fighter, man. And I'm sorry for everything, but at the end of the day we are men, and we are human. I'm sorry for everything."
Plant: "When I said 'Motherf**ker', I would never talk about your mother because I don't have a mother. My mom died."
Canelo: "You have a really good and beautiful family. You are my family."
For a boxing match which appeared to have plenty of bad blood boiling beneath the surface, this interaction just goes to show the levels of professionalism in both men.

During the build-up, there was plenty of trash talk with neither fighter seeming particularly fond of the other.
Tempers flared during a press conference when Plant called Canelo a "motherf**ker".
Perhaps lost in translation a bit, this comment didn't sit well with the Mexican who shoved his rival as they went nose-to-nose on the stage.
Plant retaliated by swinging for Canelo who ducked out of the way and landed a shot of his own under Plant's eye.

If people weren't already desperate to see the two elite boxers throw hands, then they definitely should have been after witnessing that heated scuffle.
But now, after going toe-to-toe for over 30 minutes, they seem to have put their differences behind them in a show of respect.
