Watch: Hyeri, Yoo Seung Ho, Byun Woo Seok, And Kang Mina Prepare For A Rebellion In Upcoming Drama Teaser

KBS’s upcoming historical drama “When Flowers Bloom, I Think of the Moon” (literal title) released a new teaser!

“When Flowers Bloom, I Think of the Moon” is a drama set in the Joseon era, during the time when prohibition laws were at their strongest. The series will tell the love story of Kang Ro Seo (played by Hyeri), a struggling aristocrat who starts illegally making alcohol in order to support her family, and Joseon’s greatest inspector Nam Young (played by Yoo Seung Ho), who is known for living a very principled life.

The short teaser begins with the statement, “It was an era in which alcohol became a crime.” Alcohol is being thrown away, an official law is written with a seal, and people are being punished for making alcohol.

The preview goes on to introduce the four leading youths. Nam Young is a skilled inspector who comes to Seoul to revive his family, Kang Ro Seo is a maiden of an aristocrat family who becomes the head of the household after losing her parents, Lee Pyo (Byun Woo Seok) is an alcoholic crown prince, and Han Ae Jin (Kang Mina) is the unpredictable yet cherished daughter of a noble family. As the teaser introduces the young leads, the text, “The rebellion of the four youths who don’t know the limits begins” appears on screen, raising anticipation for their upcoming story.

In addition to brief glimpses of the handsome crown prince Lee Pyo and the beautiful Han Ae Jin, the action-packed teaser depicts Kang Ro Seo tied up and caught in a difficult situation. The preview ends with Nam Young aiming his bow and arrow, making viewers curious to find out how the situation has escalated to such a point.

The production team shared, “Set in the prohibition era, the exciting story of the four youths Nam Young, Ro Seo, Lee Pyo, and Ae Jin, who revolt against the what is prohibited, will deliver a new type of fun that will capture the hearts of both those who are unfamiliar with sageuks (Korean historical dramas) as well as pre-existing sageuk fans, so please show lots of anticipation and interest.”

“When the Flowers Bloom, I Think of the Moon” will premiere on December 20 at 9:30 p.m. KST following the conclusion of “The King’s Affection.” Watch the full teaser below!
