The Washington Football Team just stunned Tom Brady and the Tamp Bay Buccaneers. Despite losing star edge rusher Chase Young to a knee injury during the game, Washington defeated the Bucs by a score of 29-19 to improve to 3-6 on the season.

Washington capped off its win with a historic drive led by quarterback Taylor Heinicke. He led the football team on a 19-play drive that lasted over 10 minutes and featured three 3rd-down conversions to seal the victory. Running back Antonio Gibson sealed the deal with a short rushing touchdown, his second of the day, on 4th-and-goal.

Heinicke finished the game with 256 passing yards and a touchdown while completing 26 passes in 32 attempts. Terry McLaurin, whose status was in doubt for this game, was Washington's leading receiver with 59 receiving yards on six catches. Brady threw for 22o yards while recording a pair of passing touchdowns and a pair of interceptions. Mike Evans tallied 62 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Washington head coach Ron Rivera said that having a drive last at least 10 minutes is rare and complimented the play-calling from offensive coordinator Scott Turner.

This is a big win for the Football Team, as they now have tied records with their division rivals, the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles. It greatly helps their bid for a Wild Card game. The Dallas Cowboys look like they have the division wrapped up right now but Washington can still make the playoffs. They'll need to carry the momentum from this win moving forward.

Heinicke first made a big name for himself in last year's Wild Card game against the Bucs. It was his first start of the season and he took full advantage of it by scoring two total touchdowns and throwing for 306 yards. The Football Team lost that game but they finished the job today.
