Buffalo Sabres general manager Kevyn Adams joined Brian Koziol and Paul Hamilton during the Sabres Pregame Show on Saturday prior to the team's matchup with the Toronto Maple Leafs at KeyBank Center. Among the topics discussed, Adams talked about the team's performance to begin the 2021-22 season, as well as how several prospects are developing in the minors and college.

Adams reiterated the importance of acquiring a top prospect like Peyton Krebs in any trade involving ex-captain Jack Eichel, in addition to Syracuse native Alex Tuch. Their excitement to be joining the organization is another aspect of the trade that Adams highlighted during the conversation.

The general manager also updated the progress of several of the team's top prospects with the Rochester Americans, including Jack Quinn and JJ Peterka, who are among the top scorers in the American Hockey League this season.

The Clarence native had plenty to say about the blue and gold's first month of the season. Not only does Adams see signs of progress among former first round pick Dylan Cozens and others, but the leadership of Zemgus Girgensons and Kyle Okposo to aid in the team's start to the year.
