Coming off of a tense, last second victory last week on the road against the New Orleans Saints, the Atlanta Falcons look to score back-to-back wins for the second time in the 2021 NFL season when they head to Jerry’s World for a 1:00p kickoff with the Dallas Cowboys.

On the flipside, the Dallas Cowboys are reeling from a 30-16 defeat at the hands of the Denver Broncos which saw the Dallas defense gouged for 407 total yards.

Can the Falcons copy the Broncos game plan and shutdown a skilled Dallas offense and walk away with a victory improving their playoff chances.

NBC Dallas reporter Newy Scruggs, joined Sam & Greg and told the guys that he doesn’t think that the Falcons defense is solid enough but are they could be up for the challenge.  “They don’t have the defensive scheme or the defensive mindset,” Newy said.  Newy also went on to say that, “the Falcons need to stop the run and they have a chance.”

Dallas will be without defensive end Randy Gregory today as well as both starting tackles on the offensive line.  The Falcons hope to generate some pressure on quarterback Dak Prescott and stifle the Dallas running attack, led by Ezekiel Elliot.

Kickoff is set for 1:00p EST in Arlington, TX.
