Coming into Week 10, the Las Vegas Raiders would likely want to trade places with the Kansas City Chiefs at this point. Even as soon as a week ago, that would have sounded silly in the 2021 season.

The Raiders have owned the AFC West for almost the entire first half of the year while the Chiefs have struggled in the divisional basement to get themselves out of the early hole they dug by losing to each and every winning team in the first third of the schedule. They’ve cobbled together two wins in a row to climb above .500 at 5-4, but they’ve yet to play 60 minutes of well-rounded football in 2021, which seems like a prerequisite for any team who wants to call themselves a Super Bowl contender.

In Week 10, however, the Chiefs are on the upswing with a defense that’s turning the corner while the Raiders are releasing first-round picks left and right and find themselves embroiled in drama ever since they were forced to can Jon Gruden as head coach. What’s worse is that they just lost to the New York Giants a week ago and now must host a very motivated Chiefs team.

Chiefs Injury Report vs Las Vegas Raider Week 10

The Chiefs are relatively healthy across the board and are looking forward to getting even more players back from injury soon like running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, but they are hurting right now at one place in particular which should come into play on Sunday Night Football against the Raiders. The Chiefs right tackle situation is sticky with injuries to Lucas Niang and Mike Remmers, which means Andrew Wylie will start. Meanwhile, the Raiders have perhaps the most productive duo of pass rushers in the league with Maxx Crosby and Yannick Ngakoue. Watch that matchup early and often.

Hunter Renfrow injury update

Everything should be good to go here for Renfrow, who is the Raiders most dependable pass catcher next to tight end Darren Waller. However, it’s notable that Renfrow injured his ankle last week in the loss to the Giants and he was limited earlier this week in practice on Wednesday. Again, he returned to practice in full on Thursday and he’s trending positively but these sorts of injuries can be tweaked at any time and it’s something to keep an eye on before the game.

Chiefs vs Packers Odds, Spread, Over/Under & Betting Pick Week 10

WynnBET’s Week 10 NFL odds have the Chiefs favored by 3 points despite the game being played at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. It’s also a bit interesting considering the Raiders have been ahead of the Chiefs in the standings for nearly the entire season. However, the momentum shift for both teams and the level of drama surrounding the Raiders makes it hard for anyone to believe in them at present.
