There have been plenty of rumours surrounding AC Milan in the last few weeks, with the January transfer window approaching. Two situations of interest are those relating to Franck Kessie and Romain Faivre.

Starting with the midfielder, the renewal continues to be a very complicated matter. According to Niccolo Ceccarini, in his latest piece for TMW, the parties are still ‘far away’ although contacts have continued to this day.

Milan are willing to go as high as €6.5m to renew the contract but Kessie and his agent have asked for €9m. With that in mind, it will be impossible for them to reach an agreement and the player thus needs to take a step back.

In other news, the Rossoneri are still interested in Romain Faivre who came so close to joining the club during the summer. Various reports have come out lately, some suggesting a deal is no longer likely, but he’s at least on their radar still.
