The Baltimore Ravens won’t be playing football this weekend after already playing on “Thursday Night Football” in Week 10. However, that doesn’t mean that big things aren’t happening for some of the Baltimore players, including their biggest star.
On Saturday afternoon, Ravens quarterback saw his No. 8 be immortalized forever at his alma mater, as the University of Louisville held a ceremony for the signal caller that did so many good things for the school both on and off the field. Jackson walked out on a red carpet, and the day was made all about him, which is most certainly deserved.

At halftime, Jackson took the field and his ceremony took place. He looked on in amazement as he name and number was revealed to the crowd, cementing the legacy that he build at the university.

Jackson then gave a speech to the crowd, sharing how grateful and appreciative he is for all of the support he’s gotten over the years as well as look back on some memories of his time as a Cardinal.

Jackson was a polarizing player during his days in college, becoming the youngest player ever to win the Heisman Trophy as well as putting up video game-like numbers. The quarterback deserved this day, and now at just 24 years old his number is forged in Louisville history forever.
